About this Event

Using media as an instruction tool is one way to connect with today’s increasingly digital classroom. If you’re teaching a course this semester, UD Library’s Film & Video Collection can help you foster this connection.

Explore the scope of film, video and gaming materials and services available to enhance coursework during this orientation. You will learn how to check out and schedule videos for future class use and consider how more media can be incorporated into teaching in seamless and copyright-conscious ways.

You’ll discover how to search the Library’s online catalog for Film & Video Collection materials, see what films and videos are available for class viewing, and learn how to access and utilize the newly expanded streaming databases to which the Library subscribes. The orientation is open to faculty and graduate students who will be instructing a course this semester.

If you are interested in learning about the Film & Video Collection but unable to attend the workshop, please email mtwchk@udel.edu to arrange for an individual consultation.

This session does not cover production resources available at the Student Multimedia Design Center.

Workshops are free of charge, but registration is required as seating is limited.
