About this Event

High-quality photographs can make research findings more engaging and easier to understand. Whether you're documenting artifacts, specimens, prototypes or other research materials, proper lighting and composition can dramatically improve the clarity and impact of your images.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to position lighting and research objects to capture clear, detailed photographs for posters, presentations and publications. Participants will also explore basic photo editing techniques using Adobe Lightroom, including adjusting brightness, contrast and sharpness to enhance image quality. Students preparing research posters or presentations are especially encouraged to attend.

Registration is required.
