About this Event
Empowering Access. Transforming Student Success.
Join us for Delaware’s first-ever Open and Affordable Learning Symposium!
Connect with educators, librarians and innovators from across the region for Delaware’s first-ever Open and Affordable Learning Symposium — a day dedicated to sharing ideas, building connections and exploring how open educational resources (OER) can transform teaching and expand access for every student.
Parking: Free and available onsite
Food: Continental breakfast and lunch provided
Overview
This dynamic, in-person event will bring together educators, librarians, instructional designers and advocates who are passionate about making learning more accessible, equitable and affordable. Through interactive sessions, engaging discussions and community connections, participants will explore the power and potential of open educational resources (OER) — teaching and learning materials that are free to use, adapt, and share.
Whether you’re new to OER or already using open and affordable materials in your classroom, the Symposium is your opportunity to:
- Discover innovative approaches to open pedagogy and course design
- Connect with peers and leaders advancing open education across Delaware and beyond
- Gain practical ideas for reducing textbook costs and increasing student success
- All are welcome — regardless of institution or experience level.
