About this Event
Data visualizations can make the story behind your data easier for others to understand.
During this workshop, explore how to use R—an open-source statistical tool—to create versatile visualizations for coursework, outreach or publications. You will get hands-on experience with the platform as you create plots from sample datasets and learn best practices of data visualization. You will also learn how to customize your plots and graphs and how to find open access resources to continue building knowledge of R visualizations.
Daniel Peart, data services librarian, will lead the workshop.
This in-person workshop is open to UD students, faculty and staff. It is co-sponsored by the Graduate College. While this workshop is taught at a beginner level, those who attend should have some prior R experience.
Registration is required as seating is limited. The workshop will not be recorded.
This workshop is part of the digital badge for Research Data Management. You do not need to be enrolled in the digital badge program to attend the workshop, though you are welcome to register for it if you would like to participate and earn the digital badge.
