About this Event

New tools for quickly and easily finding research publications are exploding in popularity and are being used extensively on campus right now. Artificial intelligence can be controversial: Is it ethical? Does it replicate bias? Can using it infringe copyright? Sometimes the answers to these questions are complicated.

Discuss effective ways for thinking through these questions when you are exploring particular tools during this seminar with Paige Morgan, head of the Digital Initiatives and Preservation Department at the Library, Museums and Press, and Beth Twomey, head of the Research and Engagement Department at the Library, Museums and Press.

This is a hybrid event. Registration is required. When registering, please denote whether you plan to attend virtually or in person.

This event is part of the AI-focused seminar series called “Navigating the Future of AI and Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.” For more information and to stay informed about upcoming seminars, visit the AI for Teaching and Learning website.
