About this Event

Approximately one in nine adults aged 65 or older has Alzheimer's disease or a related cause of dementia. Although there is no cure, up to 40% of cases of dementia could be delayed or prevented.

Join Professor Matthew Cohen to explore up-to-date information about modifiable risk factors for dementia and what investigators at the University of Delaware are doing to advance Alzheimer's disease research.

Matthew Cohen is a clinical neuropsychologist, an associate professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, and the associate director of the Delaware Center for Cognitive Aging Research. His research focuses on early detection of and early intervention for Alzheimer's disease and related conditions.
