About this Event

Are you wondering how artificial intelligence will affect your work, education or future career?

During this virtual workshop, explore the landscape of AI and general-purpose AI-powered tools. You will learn about generative AI, its current strengths and limitations, and how AI-powered tools can be used to support research, writing and critical thinking. (In fact, this description was crafted with the help of an AI assistant!) You will also discover how to integrate such tools into your workflows and discuss ethical and practical questions to consider when using them.

Maria Barefoot, online learning librarian, and Jessica Deshaies, digital publishing specialist, will lead the workshop.

This workshop is open to the public. It is co-sponsored by the Graduate College.

Registration is required. Once registered, you will receive an email with details on how to join the workshop via Zoom. The workshop will not be recorded.
