About this Event
Data visualizations help communicate the story of your research to your audience, creating a more engaging way for readers to understand the context, relevance and value of your takeaways.
During this workshop, explore best practices for data visualizations, including when and how they can enhance a story. You’ll also learn how to choose the right visualization for your research needs, and delve into basic design principles that will ensure your visualization is clear, legible and accessible.
Kayla Abner, digital scholarship librarian, will lead the workshop.
This virtual workshop is open to the public. It is co-sponsored by the Graduate College. Faculty and graduate students in data-heavy fields, like business, social sciences or physical sciences, are encouraged to attend.
Registration is required. Once registered, you will receive an email with details on how to join the workshop via Zoom. The workshop will not be recorded.
