About this Event

What can we learn from the data taken from our daily lives?

During this workshop, learn how to plan, gather, analyze and depict data by taking a closer look at your day-to-day data—how you spend your time, what apps you use most, how often you say “I love you,” what distracts you, and more. Using these personal datapoints, you’ll have some fun with arts and crafts, using supplies to draw a data visualization. No artistic skills required!

Alison Wessel, social sciences librarian, and Kayla Abner, digital scholarship librarian, will lead the workshop.

This in-person workshop is open to UD students, faculty and staff.

Registration is required as seating is limited. The workshop will not be recorded.

This workshop is part of our Love Data Week programming, which includes workshops and table events that celebrate data and raise awareness about available research data services.
