About this Event

Do you need help getting started on a video project for a class assignment?

During this workshop, explore the key elements and strategies of digital storytelling while developing skills to help you create a successful and well-produced video. You will learn how to plan a digital story video by identifying its purpose, audience, tone and content needs. You will also discover how to find open-licensed creative content and how to create original footage.

Amanda McCollom, multimedia literacy librarian, and Jess Barth, emerging multimedia technologies librarian, will lead the workshop.

This in person workshop is open to UD students, faculty and staff. It is co-sponsored by the Graduate College.

Registration is required as seating is limited. The workshop will not be recorded.

Those who attend this workshop are encouraged to register for Digital Storytelling with Video: Intro to iMovie on March 11 or Digital Storytelling with Video: Intro to Adobe Premiere Pro on March 18 to build on their newfound skills and learn how to compile a video using editing software.

This workshop is part of the digital badge for Digital Storytelling with Video. You do not need to be enrolled in the digital badge program to attend the workshop, though you are welcome to register for it if you would like to participate and earn the digital badge.
