About this Event

"Digitizing Old Formats: Audio" includes an overview of equipment and digital transfer services available at the Student Multimedia Design Center. The workshop will demonstrate techniques for converting treasured audio content from old formats, vinyl records and audio cassettes, to newer digital formats such as audio CDs and MP3 files.  Participants will be introduced to working with provided digitized files using Audacity, a free, open source, cross-platform software for recording and editing sounds that works on both Macintosh and Windows personal computers.

The workshop is available at no charge and is open to UD students, faculty and staff.

Seating is limited and registration is required. To register, go to the Library workshops guide [library.udel.edu/workshops]. The guide also has the complete list of workshops offered by the Library. For further information, email lib-workshops@udel.edu or call 302-831-2432.
